Key Responsibilities
- Design, draft, implement and oversee Verifo’s compliance policies and standard operating
procedures; - Ensure compliance with current electronic money and payments regulations and other relevant
legislation; - Monitor and implement regulatory changes;
- Provide briefings and reports to the senior management on matters relating to compliance
policies, procedures, processes and metrics; - Submit relevant regulatory compliance reports to the authorities;
- Expand and lead a team of professional compliane specialists;
- Work with software development to automate processes and implement industry leading
solutions; - Implement procedures in line with compliance rules, risk appetite and best practices;
- Prepare and execute a training program for the team and company as a whole;
- Provide support and guidance to the staff and senior management in regard to compliance and
regulatory requirements; - Arrange inspections and audits from third-party organizations, and implement compliance
recommendations based on their findings;
Criteria
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Law;
- Several years’ experience in a senior role in compliance or legal function, preferably in a
financial institution; - Knowledge of Lithuanian and EU laws, rules and regulations applicable to electronic money
institutions; - Knowledge of EBA guidelines, Bank of Lithuania guidelines, recommendations and other
related publications; - Proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment;
- Fluent in English;

Salary 3,000-3,600 Eur/month (Gross)
